Start with Local PR

More often than not clients are interested in the landing the big story.  They dream of a front page article in the major metro newspaper or national industry magazine.  The truth of the matter is that not only are those placements harder to secure, chances are your target audience is seeking buying information from other sources.  When creating a target media list, be careful not to discount local papers, blogs and online news sites.  Most of us do business with local companies.  Local media are always interested in a best practices story that will benefit the reader.
