Sign Factory Works with Paramount Theatre on Next Phase of Renovation; Box Office Marquee

Current metal awning to be enhanced  with  design that matches “era “of theatre

Kirkland, WA (PRBuzz) September 23, 2010 — By now theatre goers in Seattle have witnessed first hand the initial transformation of the Paramount theatre with the renovation of the large vertical sign from the Sign Factory visible from I-5 and Capitol Hill.  Once again, the Sign Factory is prepared to meet the challenges associated with creating a look and feel dating back to the heyday of Cinerama in the 1950’s.

“The embellishment of the metal awning above the box office is part of a brand strategy to recreate the apex of the theatre and emulate the design and elements of the existing marquee, “said Jim Risher, President, Sign Factory.  “This is not a simple project.  The new sign will consist of lots of Neon and LED to continue our goal of green lighting which is 95 percent more efficient versus traditional.”  Risher credits their in-house neon department as one of the factors that enables the Sign Factory to successfully complete the project.

The sign is scheduled to be installed at the end of September.  The project required additional approval from the Seattle Landmark Preservation Board because it was not part of the original theatre.

The Sign Factory can provide the same level of design, installation and customer service for your company. For more information, call Jim Risher at 425-822-1200.
