2011 PR- Customer Touchpoints

It’s a good time of the year to review your 2011 PR/Marketing plan focused on customer touchpoints.  Touch points include your website, email newsletter, social media pages, sales and marketing collateral and earned media placements.  Many companies create compelling content regarding business and product developments and customer wins.  An equal amount bury the content in online press rooms or PDF’s that most customers will never visit.  Its easy to create a protocol for ensuring all touch points are covered.  Once content is completed, designate someone to handle posting to website, email newsletter, social media pages and sales and marketing collateral.  Then review content for possible media pitches.
